Sight-Seeing Tour Packages
TOUR 1. DOI SUTHEP, PHU PING PALANCE AND HOME INDUSTRIES
( 9 am. 5 pm)
Visit Wat Prathat Doi Sutherp (3,500 Feet) where holy relics of the Lord Buddha are kept inside the pagoda and a magnificent panoramic view of the city can be seen. Phu ping Place (4,300 feet) and its beautiful gardens. The winter palace of the royal family is open everyday. Then enjoy a visit to handicraft villages of Borsang and Sankampaeng to see the making of silk, umbrellas, lacquer ware, and woodcarvings.
TOUR 2. DOI SUTHEP,PHU PING PALACE AND CITY TEMPLES

Phu ping Place (4,300 feet) the winter palace of the Royal Family and its beautiful gardens is open everyday. Then visit to Wat Jed Yod, Wat Jedee Luang and Wat Prasing.
TOUR 3. HOME INDUSTRIES
( anytime before 3 pm)
The famous villages of Bosang and Sankumpang are noted for their excellence in the variety of handicraft products such as, silk and paper umbrellas, lacquer ware, teak carvings and funiture, Celadon and silver are also made at the factories.

TOUR 4. ELEPHANTS AT WORK, ORCHID FARM
(8:30 am - 12 pm )
Excursion to a jungle area north of the city. See a demonstration of how trained elephants are used to help in timber work. A stop is made at a very beautiful Orchid Farm with hundred of species of rare and colouful blooms. At extra cost a trip to the handicraft villages can also be arranged.
TOUR 5. WHITE KAREN HILLTRIBE, LUMPOON AND PASANG AREA
(8:30 am - 4 pm )
Visit an unusual white Karen Hilltribe then step into Wat Prabaht Tak Pha to see a holy footprint of the Lord Buddha. Pasang is a village famed for its smiling faces and cotton weaving. Lumpoon is noted for its famous temples, Among them are Wat Prathat Haripoonchai and Wat Jamma Tevee.
TOUR 6. CHIANGRAI, GOLDEN TRIANGLE AND MAE SAI
(7 am - 7-8 pm )
Depart at 7 a.m. for Chiang Rai, stop at a hot spring on the way. Then continue for a visit to Yao and Akha Hilltribe Village. There is an interesting visit to Chiangsaen, a historical city, which dates back more than 700 years. Then visit the notorious Golden Triangle and Mae Khong River which flows through Thailand, Burma and Laos. At the end of this trip, visit Mae Sai at the Myanmar border. Back to Chiangmai at 7-8pm.
TOUR 7. DOI INTHANON NATIONAL PARK
(8:30 am - 5 pm )
Visit one of Thailands most famous National parks. On the way visit Pra Mahathat Napa Metaneedon and Pra Mahathat Napapon Poomsiri, a Hmong ( Meo) Village, Vachirathan waterfall, a Karen Village, Mae Klang waterfall and Wat Prathat Sri Jomthong, a temple with the relics of the Lord Buddha.
TOUR 8. LUMPANG ELEPHANT TRAINING CENTER
(8:30 am - 5 pm )
In a famous Elephant camp of the north, see a demonstration to how trained elephants are used to help in timber work. Then visit Wat Pra Kaew Don Tao, an old temple in Lumpang, horse carriage, and visit Wat Prathat Lumpang Luang, the most famous temple in Lumpang. Then visit Thungwian, a Thai local market.
TOUR 9. SPECIAL ONE DAY TOUR
(8:30 am - 5 pm)
Visit Chiang Dao elephant training camp to see how young elephants are especially trained for timber work in the jungle. This is followed by a one hour ride on elephant back in the mountains. Visit a Lisu Village. In the vicinity. After lunch, bamboo rafting for an hour on Maeping river and see the Orchid Farm, then return to Chiang Mai.
